We welcome the new light of the new morning on this earth. With a joyful heart we wish you in advance a Very Happy New Year.
It is now the time to say goodbye to the past and welcome the future. Yes, it is Chaitra month, and pretty soon it will be Baisakh. It announces the arrival of the New Year. We will be celebrating Nabo Barsho on April 16 th, 2011 at the ICC. Detailed itinerary of the events are included in the next page of the newsletter. Please join us in these celebrations.
This being the final event of the current Executive Committee, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the community events throughout the year. It has been a pleasure serving the community, and organizing the annual events. As the Executive Committee, we have tried our best to make these events memorable and enjoyable. We have succeeded in some, and failed at others. For our successes, we thank the community for their confidence and support. For our failures, we apologize and ask for continued support as we look forward to all the exciting events that await us in the coming years. We wish the incoming committee our very best.
